About Carmen Ferber
Carmen Ferber is an author whose life reads like the books she writes layered, extraordinary, and rooted in an unshakeable faith. She is, first and always, a child of God, and everything she has built her family, her ministry, her writing flows from that foundation.
She has been married to her first love, Otto, for fifty years as of 2026. Together they raised twenty-one children and opened their home to more than Three dozen foster children. Each child shaped her. Each story stayed with her. It is from this vast, lived experience that her books are born.
Through her ministry she directed a fostering agency, oversaw humanitarian projects in Ghana, and led the design and construction of twenty-three homes to fund charitable work. She also maintained a counselling practice for twenty-five years, walking alongside refugees, the homeless, immigrants, and those facing mental health challenges.
Today, Carmen channels everything she has lived into her writing. Her books are not written from a distance. They are written from the inside from a life fully given to faith, family, and service. That is what you feel on every page.
